Before their publicised relationship with Saumu Mbuvi, Mike Sonko’s daughter, Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip hardly hit headlines.
However, after their break up and controversial hook up with socialite Bambi Aeedah, the flamboyant senator hints that he means well.
During the recent Next Wave Concert at the Carnivore grounds where the couple turned heads while sitting side to side, Bambi clarified, "there is so much talk about town. People should know Anwar is my best friend and support system. We are doing business together and I am at a happy place," she said.
Choosing to steer away from the matters relationship, the senator said he was impressed by the organisation at the New Wave Concert and promised to hold the same for his constituents.
“I will hold a mkeka (spread mat) party in my county and support local talent. I want Kenyans to experience Lamu as one of the best and romantic destination islands that we have in the country,” said the youthful legislator now referred to as ‘Simba wa Lamu’ by his close knit.
