Nigerian singer and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke better known by his stage name Davido has revealed that American RnB star Chris Brown has expressed interest in being part of his 2020 wedding.
Davido, who is set to marry his long-time girlfriend Chioma next year, took to social media to tell his fans that Chris Brown wants to be part of his groomsmen at his wedding.
In a tweet, Davido joked about the thought of Chris in native attire.
“Chris say he wan Dey my train oooo. Imagine Chris in attire!” He tweeted.
His fans debated the whole issue with majority fascinated by the idea of Chris Brown in Nigeria for the much-anticipated wedding.
@Adeyemzy007 on twitter said, “On behalf of all Nigerians... We would love to witness Chris in agbada,” his tweet read.
Replying to Davido’s tweet, @Sage_Babs on twitter said, “Chris looks good in anything, that wedding ‘bout to be a concert,”
@Iamricoswavey seemed a bit impatient going by his tweet which read; “That will be awesome! Can you just push back the wedding to this December 2019??,”
Davido’s and Chris Brown friendship has been thriving since the two released a collabo titled 'Blow My Mind.'
The song has garnered over 19 Million views on YouTube and has been topping the charts in Nigeria.
Davido proposed to Chioma in London, United Kingdom, on the night of September 12, 2019.
The proposal came exactly 10 days after the couple’s families held an introduction ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.
The music star took his girlfriend out on a dinner date in London, where he proposed to her.
"I love you Davido (You didn’t even let me wax yet," Chioma responded to Davido's proposal.
