After the much publicized and hyped Dilenttates Festival that was scheduled to take place this past weekend, the main act was a no show and with good reason.
Taking to his social media, Timmy Tdat had to apologize to disappointed fans who had made their way to the Mombasa Sports Club in great anticipation.

Some of the disappointed fans posted on his wall.
Having travelled to the coastal city a day before, the excitement was evident and the artist cum radio presenter was ready to rock the show.
‘’Mombasa later in the day, Sports club,’’ the artist posted a day to the event.
However, due to contractual issues with the promoter the Kasabun artist failed to perform.
‘’I want to thank and show love to my people who came through at Mombasa sports club yesterday despite me not performing,it wasn’t my fault, the promoter didn’t commit as per the contract.I want to give credit to those who made it to KLUB 04 last night..it was heavy I reciprocate the love twice as much, until next episode..blessed Sunday,’’ Timmy posted.
When contacted by SDE, TDat clarified that the organizers had not paid the whole amount before he could get to stage: “The organizers didn’t pay the remaining percentage before I could go on stage. Yes I will definitely perform in Mombasa, it’s like my second home or rather home away from home. As a matter of fact, I have an upcoming show in Diani.”
It is not clear how much the artist was demanding to be paid or what other requests he made for him to hit the stage.
