After turning a new leaf last year, songbird Cecilia Wairimu popularly known as Amani has dropped her first gospel song dubbed ‘Jina Lake Yesu.’
Amani stated on her social media page that she had revaluated her path and was not going to bury her talent.
“I thought I was done with music then I remembered that God placed that gift in my life for a purpose. I will not bury it. I thank God for my salvation ...May the name of the lord be praised,” wrote Amani.
On her journey to salvation, Amani had disclosed that she was on the verge of quitting music all together.
“Well, it was basically a personal decision to follow Christ. Two years ago, I felt I am actually done with the whole industry and basically my own life, and I felt yeah, I need to turn over a new leaf,’’ she told a local news outlet.
