Maseno School in Kisumu County has bought a new school bus, a Mercedes Benz.
The school’s latest acquisition wowed the blogosphere with comments of awe pouring in.
In fact, many are questioning CS Matiang’i’s directive that all school buses be painted yellow.
“Have you ever seen a Mercedes with funny stickers like those put on Probox? Matiang'is directive to paint all busses yellow will therefore be disrespected githuon????” shared one Twitter user.
“Maseno School acquires a new school bus & yes, its a Mercedes. Dr Fred Matiangi this one cannot be painted yellow.” Read another tweet.
What makes the school bus exceptional is its worth. Mercedes Benz is a respected global automobile marque and is known for manufacturing some of the most reliable, reputable and luxurious automobiles.
The bus worth tens of millions is expected to serve the over a thousand students at the Kisumu based National School.
The school is not new to hitting headlines thanks to its good results in KCSE Examination over the years. It came second nationally in 2015 KCSE.
