City prostitutes are upping their game in an attempt to lure more clients.
It is no longer about scanty and revealing dressing or suggestive and provocative gestures.
Their new ploy is about volumes and to rack up numbers, while ensuring a ‘very happy ending.’
The Nairobain has learnt that the ‘night nurses’ are now peddling blowjobs for just Sh50.
This strategy is apparently working magic and those who spoke to The Nairobian claim business is really good.
Maryanne*, a sex worker along Luthuli Avenue, says since she started offering oral sex, customers have been trooping in droves.
“You get whatever you want. I charge between Sh50 and Sh250 for a blowjob, depending on how one negotiates. It is cost-effective and cheaper for both parties because there is no worry about paying for a room. I can do this business fast and conveniently behind a deserted building,” she said.
Another ‘night girl’ disclosed that most customers now prefer oral sex because it is quicker, safer and cheaper.
“Sex along corridors is a common thing and particularly blowjobs. These girls can easily run away from cops when done. They can serve more clients in a night compared to having sex in hotel rooms,” a downtown watchman told The Nairobian. The guard admitted that they take a small fee from the women to keep a lookout for cops.
Maryanne said she learnt about oral sex from a mzungu client who taught her how it is done.
“We learn fresh styles from clients, particularly foreigners, which we later try on our local customers,” she revealed.
She claims most of her clients, especially the married ones, prefer oral sex since their wives are never willing to go down on them.
According to Dr Joshua Kimani, the Clinical Director for Kenya Aids Control Project (KACP), oral sex is less risky compared to anal sex.
But he still advises the use of condoms to avoid contracting sexually transmitted infections.
