It is clear that there is bad blood between Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and singer Ken wa Maria.
This beef was solidified on July 4 at the Masaku 7s after party.
The governor was opening the party when the DJ decided to introduce him onstage with one of Ken wa Maria’s songs.
Unhappy with the introduction, he signalled the DJ who obliged and played a totally different song.
It is a case of friends-turned-foe since wa Maria has in the past supported Governor Mutua.
Although Ken wa Maria has in the past denied any bad blood between them, it has been rumoured that his song Ni wa Sinema is directed at the governor.
