Hardly do they share their story about being orphans and for the first time, comedy brothers Fred and Eric Omondi have revealed their foster mother, the woman they credit their success to.
You are hearing this for the first time, Pulse now unveils Evelyne Muchocho, a lecturer at Maseno University who took the two brothers in after their father passed on in 2004, two years after their mother’s demise. She has since been mentoring the two celebrated entertainers.
“We hardly share this. We come from a very humble upbringing. After the passing of our mum, our father died of cardiac arrest and since then, we knew we had to strive to make it. Our foster mum Evelyne Muchocho met us in church back in Kisumu after which she adopted us,” Fred told Pulse.
“We have experienced God’s miracles since then. Eric has no idea who paid his full university fees. These humbling experiences are what keep us close to God,” he added.
The two brothers will be leaving the country next week on a tour of the US where they are expected to visit six states.
