Bobbi Kristina Brown was banned from seeing her mother Whitney Houston's body after she died, for fears it would '"haunt" her, it has been claimed.
The 21-year-old, who is currently fighting for her life in hospital, is said to have become "obsessed" with the singer's death, after she was found face-down in a bath - in much the same way an unresponsive Bobbi was found more than a week ago.
When Whitney passed away three years ago, Bobbi was in a neighbouring suite at the Beverley Hilton Hotel, and according to The Sun, officials kept her from seeing Whitney's body over fears she would be "forever haunted" by it.
Instead she was reportedly given sedatives and later taken to hospital with "uncontrollable grief".
And it comes as, according to reports, prior to being found unresponsive in a bath herself, she spent much of her time discussing the upcoming third anniversary of her mother’s death - more than her upcoming first wedding anniversary.
Speaking about Bobbi’s recent behaviour a source said: "She was seemingly obsessed by it - strangely more so than last year or the year before.
Another source close to the family added they have been concerned about her for some time due to her erratic behaviour, and are worried she may have bipolar disorder.
The source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: "There are increasingly obvious indications that Bobbi Kristina is bipolar, and that explains a lot about her mood swings, her ongoing battle with depression and her use of drugs over the past couple of years.
"The loss of her mom and her intense craving for attention of any sort are just the tip of her mountain of issues."
Before her mother’s death Bobbi was reportedly abusing drugs. In February 2011 she was caught on video snorting what was alleged to be cocaine at a party.
Following her mum’s death a year later it was reported Bobbi was caught getting high after the funeral and a memorial service. Last July she was pictured lighting up what appeared to be a drugs bong and smoking cannabis.
She denied the photo was hers.
