Madonna has today defended the photo shopped images of Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King she posted on Instagram, TMZ has reported. In her defense she asserts that she had no intention of offending anyone. Well, that’s not quite the picture her fans got.
The series of pictures on her Instagram were posted on Friday. The photos show the faces of Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr and various icons bound with black string. She has been accused of disrespecting and to some extent of being unfair and biased to figures posted.
Her photo post was followed by backlash from fans and critics. To her defense, the report said, she went to the Facebook, "This is neither a crime or an insult or racist." She adds, "I'm saying they are Rebel Hearts too."
