Fourteen pupils who excelled in 2019 KCPE exams from Kagan ward, Rangwem, have received full scholarships for secondary education.
The pupils, who were studying at Kego orphanage primary school and scored between 312 and 405 marks, have acquired the scholarships from a US family.
The eight boys and six girls are orphans.
On Wednesday, school director Philemon Onditi showed the pupils cheques worth Sh245,000 he received from the US family.
Onditi said the money will be used to pay term one fees, with the family pledging to see the 14 through their secondary education.
