A millionaire businessman has been accused of killing a security guard because he was too slow opening his front gate.
Mohammed Nisham is alleged to have deliberately driven his car into the man as he returned home from work.
The victim, K. Chandrabose was pinned against a wall during the incident - and police believe he was hit with an iron rod, Sky News reports.
Mr Chandrbose, 50, spent two weeks in hospital on life support, but he died yesterday in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
Mr Nisham already faces a separate court case after allowing his nine-year-old son to drive a Ferrari on a public road in 2013.

Nisham allegedly uploaded the one-and-a-half minute clip of his son driving the Ferrari F430 in Kerala, India.
The lad's five-year-old brother is alleged to have been in the passenger seat at the time.
A police spokesman said at the time: "The police cyber cell alerted us of it and we questioned Nisham who admitted he encouraged his son to drive the car on April 6."
"We have booked Nisham under relevant laws."
