Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia are reportedly in need of sh12 million to cater for two months’ salary arrears and also this weekend’s CAF Champions League clash against Algerian outfit USM Alger.

As seen by Game Yetu on a local news site, K’Ogalo CEO Lordvick Aduda outlined how much cash Gor Mahia needs:

“We are at our very lowest moment because we lack funds. We are hosting USM Alger on Sunday and apart from Sh10 million we owe our players as two-month salaries, we also need Sh 2 million for the Caf match, an amount which we don’t have as at now," he explained.

Aduda went on to break down how the money will be distributed, highlighting return air tickets and transport for match officials for the period they will be in the country.

Additional expenses include stadium hiring, security, local transport for the away team as well as accommodation for the match commissioner and officials.
