Victims of the DusitD2 terror attack were buried in different parts of the country.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i attended the burial of Japheth Nduguja, the GSU officer who was killed in the attack.
Accompanied by ICT CS Joe Mucheru and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Matiang’i read a message of condolence from President Uhuru Kenyatta who described Nduguja as brave.
“The country has lost services of a young, brave and promising officer. He proved competent and had a cordial relationship with his colleagues. The late Nduguja was admired by many,” said President Kenyatta.

The officer was buried yesterday at his Kimala village in Taveta, Taita-Taveta in an emotional ceremony also attended by Inspector General Joseph Boinnet and senior members of the disciplined forces.
Others who attended the burial were Governor Granton Samboja, Senator Jones Mwaruma, Woman Rep Lydia Haika and MPs Andrew Mwadime, Naomi Shaban, Jones Mlolwa and Alfred Agoi.
In Embu County, Denis Munene, 29, a computer scientist at Cellulant, was eulogised as a brilliant and devoted Christian who enjoyed his work.
