Alex Mandera, a first year Bachelor of Education student at Kabianga University on Sunday last week lost his life after drowning in a river situated close to the institution.
The late Mandera was in a company of three other friends when they went swimming in River Chemosit.
The sad news which has been confirmed by the Institution’s head of Communications follows another which happened less than three months ago.
Available information shows that River Chemosit has claimed a total of three student lives so far.
