Multimedia University student leader dies in grisly road accident

Multimedia University has lost a student leader to a road accident which took place last week Friday.

Ronald Kiprono Kirui also known as Yusuf was traveling from Nakuru to Rongai together with two others along Nairobi Southern Bypass when their car lost control and veered off the road.

According to survivors Boniface Ngeno and Edith Cheluto, the 23-year-old Secretary-General was seated at the back and was thrown out of the car making him sustain head injuries.

Kenya University Students Organization chief strategist Ndegwa Alex said that Kiprono was a visionary student leader who was vocal in articulating students’ interests and at the forefront of pushing for reforms in Kenya’s higher education.
