Arsenal have tabled a bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema with the Frenchman keen on a switch to the Emirates.
That is according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, who say the Gunners have made an offer, with the forward, 29, open to the move.
Benzema continues to be linked with an exit from the Bernabeu with Real five points off the pace in the Liga title race.
Bernabeu chief Florentino Perez is allegedly open to sanctioning the move, with ex-Lyon hitman Benzema making just five appearances in all competitions so far this term, scoring once.
Arsenal take on FK Crvena Zvezda in tonight’s Europa League clash at Stadion Rajko Mitic in Beograd Serbia at 8 pm local time.
