Nakuru Governor-elect Lee Kinyanjui is expected to outline his development agenda for the county during his coronation on August 21.
Sources said the new governor may also unveil his cabinet. His representative, John Gichuhi told the media that Mr Kinyanjui will emphasise unity among residents and the fight against corruption.
"The governor is looking forward to address the residents on what he intends to achieve," he said.
The function at the Nakuru showground will begin with a church service. County Secretary Joseph Motari said it would be followed by a reception.
