Kenya Simbas head coach Jerome Paarwater has warned his players not to get carried away by their historic 100-10 humiliation of Tunisia ahead of today’s (2pm) Rugby Africa Gold Cup encounter against visiting Senegal, at the RFUEA Grounds.

The national 15s rugby team was in a class of its own last weekend as they tore through the Tunisians’ defense at will and restricted their forward play to record a centurion victory after day one’s frustrating 33-33 draw against Uganda.

Despite Senegal’s 95-0 thrashing at the hands of champions Namibia, the South African has called on his charges to continue from where they left off against Tunisia.

“Our focus now is on Senegal. Playing against them is a different challenge. From their two matches against Tunisia (last year) and Namibia (last weekend) I have watched, they are not push overs.

They have some two quick players at the back hence promising to be a very physical game. We must improve our defense and be up to the task,” said Paarwater.
