There is a European tourist going round the city with a trick or two in his bag.
The man, Grapevine has it that books into a hotel and engages the staff. He later engages the management pretending he has detected gaps and offers to offer a training package.
However when his deal is rejected, he throws tantrum and even stage manages break ins into his hotel room.
He then goes to the media with tall tales of how he ha been robbed off his valuables and how his host is rude and unwilling to pay for his camera and laptops as well as foreign currency.
