A man was crushed to death by a crane as he offloaded cargo from a lorry in Industrial area.
The victim was in a group that had been hired to offload the cargo. Police said they were investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, six suspected thugs were on Sunday shot dead in separate incidents of crime in Nairobi and weapons found on them.
Police said the suspects were all young; between 18 and 22 years. One was killed in Soweto slums, two in Kayole, one in Pangani and two in Riruta.
Police said the suspects were all involved in active crime when an alarm was raised. According to police, three pistols were recovered from the crime scenes.

"They were all young men and we urge the youth to avoid crime," said Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome. The bodies were moved to the mortuary.
