For the last few years, there has been an influx of young West Africans in some of the Nairobi's populated estates. A quick visit to Syokimau, Roysambu, Kasarani, Ruaka among other estates you will not fail to spot a few.
This comes after some young Chinese men and women were found in the posh Runda Estate living in a very expensive house. Unlike the Runda Chinese, this group of West Africans is loud, very secretive and all have a thing for any Shila, Waitherero or Mweni that walks by.
Is the Kenyan Government aware of them? What are they all doing in the country? What kind of business do they conduct?
The young West African men, mostly from Nigeria are rarely spotted outside their houses, no one has ever seen them going to work and they always pay their rent in advance.
From time to time loud bangs can be heard from their houses late at night. What are they really up to? Can something be done to ensure they are not doing anything illegal.
