Non-teaching staff working in public universities have temporarily called off their strike after a court order issued on Wednesday.
The workers, through Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and Allied Workers Union (KUDHEIHA) will resume work pending proceedings.
The Employment and Labour Relations Court termed the strike unlawful, ordering the matter be heard on Friday.
"We have temporarily suspended it in respect of the ruling," said KUDHEIHA Secretary General Albert Njeru.
