If there is an issue that galvanised the country more than any other, it is devolution. It is gratifying to note that the Chief Justice has created a department to deal with election petitions.
It also behooves to give a serious thought to devolution by ensuring that cases, more so disputes with national government, are cleared with speed.
One does not need voluminous write ups on obvious things. The Constitution is supreme. Until such a time that changes are made, we have to follow it to the letter.
It is baffling how MPs approve huge monies for devolved functions without questioning.
