A pastor’s son alleged to have sexually assaulted a mentally challenged minor has been charged before a Nyeri court.
Joseph Ngunjiri Kihuria denied that he defiled the 11-year-old girl on April 29 and 30, 2015 at Itheka Humo area in Nyeri.
He appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Onesmus Towett on Friday where he pleaded not guilty to “prostitution of a person with mental disability”.
The court was told that the cleric’s son had forced sexual intercourse with a minor with full knowledge that she was of young age, had mental incapacity and was not willing to commit the act with him.
Ngunjiri was issued a Sh100, 000 bond but with one personal surety.
