Lamu, Kenya: Two military pilots were Monday evening wounded after their helicopter crash landed inside Bargoni KDF camp in Lamu County.
The 500 hughes defender helicopter was trying to land within the camp from a mission when it developed mechanical problems and crashed, bursting into flames.
According to the Kenya Defence Forces spokesperson Col David Obonyo, the two occupants were immediately rescued but sustained critical injuries.
The incident occurred at 6.30pm and no destruction of property was reported.
