Police are looking for a house boy who allegedly hacked to death a middle-aged woman to death in an estate in Eldoret on Saturday.
The body of the mother of two was found by neighbours lying in a pool of blood oozing from her head where the affliction has been caused.
It is alleged that Esther Cheruto, 38, was hacked to death by her house boy who later fled the scene on unknown circumstances.
Eldoret East OCPD Nelson Taliti said they have launched a man hunt for the house boy. "The deceased succumbed to head injuries. We are yet to establish what prompted the boy because no one heard an argument," he said.
He said the house help who is the prime suspect, is Ugandan national and is identified as 'Rodgers'.
