National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) women's team defeated visiting Seychelles national team 36-24 to earn them a third consecutive defeat in an international friendly played at the Nyayo National Stadium on Thursday.
The visitors displayed an improved performance compared to their two previous encounters where they lost by a big margin.
By the breather,the reigning local champions had recorded a two score lead (14-12) and continued to attack in the second half to make sure they earn a comfortable win.
Stephanie Anderson from Seychelles emerged the top scorer of the match with nine goals with her teammate Annette Hennette scoring eight against her name.
Jackline Wanjiku scored five goals while Roseline Adhiambo, Dorcas Mutuku and Emily Orwa finding the back of the net four times each.
