Nakuru, Kenya: A man was Monday charged at a Nakuru court with showing pornographic material to minors.
Isaac Nderitu Waitherero was charged with publicly exhibiting an obscene movie to minors on April 6, 2013 at Kabatini Trading Centre, Nakuru North.
In his statement, area Chief John Thuo Mwangi told the court he received complaints from two members of the community policing initiative who told him local video dens were airing explicit content in the presence of minors.
Mr Mwangi said he accompanied the two to Nderitu's establishment where they ordered him to stop playing the video and confiscated the CD.
"Five children managed to run away but were able to detain two," he said.
