Nakuru, Kenya: A man was Tuesday charged in court for allegedly stealing a digital decoder from his neighbour at Jawatho Estate in Njoro, Nakuru County.
Nakuru court heard that Salim Oduor Oyoo broke into the house of Samuel Kagwuongo on February 13, 2015 and carried away the decoder alongside other electronics, which included a Tousda DVD player machine and an Ampex sub-woofer.
The court was told that the accused took away the Star Times decoder and a smart card all valued at Sh9,000.
Chief Magistrate Samuel Mungai released the accused on a bond of Sh30,000 and an alternative cash bail of Sh15,000.
The case will be mentioned on February 26, 2015
