KAKAMEGA COUNTY: One man was killed while several people are injured following battles between the Nandi and the Luhya in Kuvasali in Kakamega County.
Police are investigating claims that one of the communities reacted in revenge when they heard the killing of their kinsman sparking off fighting Sunday night.
Several houses were torched leaving hundreds of people stranded while others were fleeing their homes for fear of more attacks.
