Trans Nzoia County, Kenya: A section of Kwanza sub-county residents from Trans Nzoia County have lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy William Ruto for nominating one of their own as an ambassador.
Their representative, Christopher Sabulei, said the nomination of Dr Joseph Magut as Kenya’s envoy to Germany is historic and a move toward recognition of people from very humble backgrounds.
“Dr Magut is a steadfast and diligent Kenyan who not only represents the youth in the region but also the vulnerable in society. He will therefore be instrumental in assisting the Jubilee government fulfil its promises to Kenyans,” Sabulei said.
Magut, a Political Science lecturer at Kenyatta University, is not only said to be a close ally of the DP, but is also touted as head of his think tank.
