Four people died in a grisly road accident along Nyahururu-Nyeri road today morning.
One person is admitted to Nyahururu district hospital in a critical condition after sustaining injuries during the incident.
They were traveling in a toyota probox vehicle when it lost control and hit a cliff.
The accident occurred at Equator area as they were coming from Nyeri.

According to Nyandarua OCPD Benjamin Onsongo,two of them died on the spot while the other two died while receiving treatment at Nyahururu district hospital.
He said that the vehicle lost control after a tyre burst.
“We suspect that the vehicle must have been over speeding as it lost control after the tyre burst,” he said.
Onsongo said that it was then toed to Nyahururu police station.
He warned motorists to be careful when using the newly tarmacked road.
