Police in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County, are investigating the bizarre killing of a couple whose bodies were found in their house in Rurii village.
The couple is suspected to have been murdered inside their house on Thursday night.
Their bodies were found on Friday afternoon.
The two bodies had stab wounds and deep cuts pointing to a murder.

According to residents, the man, a potato seller, had failed to report to his shop on Friday morning, prompting his colleagues to search for him.
“Both of their phones had been switched off, prompting us to look for them at their home only to find the body of our colleague lying in his bedroom with deep cuts on the head,” said James Njuguna.
Njuguna said they informed the police who arrived at the scene and upon searching the house, found the body of the wife.
"The police found the body of his wife in a pool of blood,” he said.
Nyandarua county commander Boaz Cherotich who confirmed the incident said police have launched investigations.
“We are yet to establish the motive of this killing. We urge anyone who has information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to inform the police,” he said.
Cherotich added that the two were low-income earners and questioned the motive behind the death.
The bodies were taken to JM Kariuki Memorial hospital in Ol Kalou.
