Once again, Cristiano proved he is not as arrogant as people may think, as he sent an autographed jersey with a supporting message to Edu Ferreira, a 19-year old striker who revealed he's fighting cancer this week.
Cristiano Ronaldo signed the jersey and wrote a message of encouragement on the jersey asking the 19 year old cancer patient "to be strong", hoping he can defeat his illness.
Ferreira had signed his first professional contract with Boavista earlier this year, and was expected to develop his talent in years to come. The club has announced that there will be an open bank account for donations, and regardless of the outcome, Ferreira's two-year contract with the club will be respected.
