Police pulled up bhang plants weighing 30kg from a farm at Kongoacheke in Imenti North constituency.

The police and local administrators were acting on a tip-off from members of Nyumba Kumi Initiative, and found bhang planted in a maize farm.

Bhang was also found in the flower beds at a homestead belonging to a man whom police identified as Martin Mutethia. "We found bhang in the flower beds and in the maize farm," said County Assistant Commissioner George Juma.
