Wiper Party leader and also National super Alliance Co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has become the talk of the town after him, along with Amani National Congress’ (ANC) Musalia Mudavadi and FORD Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula skipped the coalition’s swearing-in ceremony held at Uhuru Park on Tuesday, January 30.

NASA leader Raila Odinga was ‘sworn in’ as the ‘People’s President’ with the other NASA principals nowhere to be seen. He then told supporters that Kalonzo would ‘take oath’ on another day.

“Kalonzo is not here with us. But he is together with us in this. He will be sworn in later. You will hear more from us,” said Odinga after being ‘sworn in’.

Kalonzo was expected to take oath together with Raila but failed to show up, leaving the former Prime Minister to take the oath on his own.

Before the event, the Wiper head had complained about his security detail being withdrawn, saying, “My security detail has been withdrawn. I hope sincerely that our supporters can see what we are going through.”

Kenyans, especially NASA supporters took to social media to bash Kalonzo, the word ‘WATERMELON’ coming up several times to refer to him.

Here is a sample of the reactions by Kenyans after Kalonzo missed the swearing-in:

Life was far much better when Jubilee was an insurance agency and NASA a space exploration center.#Kalonzo #RelationshipWednesday #FreeNyakundi— Odera Vitz Maisha (@OderaMaisha) January 31, 2018

"Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm".... Kalonzo has never done that, ni kuyumba yumba tu. #NASASWEARINGIN #Kalonzo— Stephen O. Odongo (@OdongoStevour) January 31, 2018

Right now Kenya is #Wakanda. Yesterday, while T'Challa was away, Killmonger (no #Kalonzo ????) swore himself in. We all know how that ends. #BlackPanther ?????????? — Justin Mawi (@applepietaste) January 31, 2018

I'm at times surprised by some politicians, they say they are fighting for the people.
How do you fight for people who are very comfortable in a situation they are in??
More Kenyans are comfortable in jubilee.Lets wait for 2022 in peace and harmony.#kalonzo— Romanos (@leakonor) January 31, 2018
