Global infrastructure firm, China Road and Bridge Corporation, has marked 30 years of operations in Kenya where it has undertaken major infrastructure projects including key roads.
The firm, which is now embarking on the Sh327 billion Standard Gauge Railway between Mombasa and Nairobi, also honoured 98 employees that have been working with it for over 10 years, all of whom have made outstanding contribution.
CRBC started operations in Kenya in 1984 and its mega infrastructure projects include 23 road projects of 1,200km and two port projects. It has over 10,000 employees in the country.
The completed projects include Nairobi Northeast By-pass road and Berth 19 at Mombasa port. It is currently constructing the Southern By-pass in Nairobi.
