It was song and dance at Naivasha GK Prison as inmates received their KCPE results with marked improvement.
Mr Bukhaya Denis Wafula serving 14 years led the pack with 336 marks.
Wafula, whose dream is to be a journalist, said he would have performed better were it not for the hard life in the prison.
"I never had a chance to learn well as a I came from a poor family, but I am ready and willing to catch up with all that I lost," he said.

The second candidate was Mwangi Patrick Irungu with 320 marks while Kirui Joseph Kipruto was ranked last with 114 marks.
Prison Welfare Officer Douglas Mugendi congratulated the inmates for a job well done, adding results were better than last year’s.
