Kenya Meteorological Department has warned that Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu cities and major towns will continue experiencing rainfall today.

The Weatherman in a succinct precautionary post on its Twitter page said: “Rainfall expected over most parts of the Country. Don't forget to allow extra time if you will be traveling to work. You might need an umbrella & coat.”

This was followed by a short infographic detailing the locations in the country set to experience light and heavy rainfall.

They include: Kisumu, Kitale, Kisii, Nakuru, Narok, Nairobi, Nyeri, Meru, Isiolo, Kitui, Garissa, Voi, Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu, Makindu, Wajir, Mandera, Moyale, Eldoret, Lodwar, Lokichogio, Samburu and Marsabit.
