Two police officers accused of aiding a suspect to escape custody will be heard in March.

Peter Angura and Sharon Kipchumba are accused of aiding Samson Khamri Liavoga to escape from Nakuru Central Police Station on January 2.

They appeared before Chief Magistrate Josephat Kalo who said the case will kick off on March 20.

He ordered the prosecution to supply the accused with witness statements and other documents available.

The accused denied the charges earlier before Principal Magistrate Faith Munyi, and are out on bond.
