A suspected thug who was in a gang was shot dead after he and his colleagues attacked and robbed a police officer in Harambee estate.
The officer attached to NTSA was walking to his house after being dropped at 5am when he was attacked.
He had been on duty overnight. The gang grabbed unknown amount of money and other valuables before trying to escape.
The officer raised alarm alerting police who were on patrol.
