Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.

Nairobi, Kenya: Police have asked Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to furnish them with any information he has regarding the killing of controversial business man Jacob Juma.

The police have also appealed to public to furnish them with any information that will help in arresting the killers of the businessman.

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula has promised to name the killers of Jacob Juma during his burial at the weekend. Mr Wetang'ula said before his death, the controversial businessman had met him and expressed fears of a plot to assassinate him. "Mr Juma called me three weeks ago and in our meeting, he revealed to me that his life was in danger because there were people who he knew well that were planning to kill him. He gave me names of those he claimed were behind the plot, which I will make public during his burial," he said. The Ford Kenya party leader spoke in Matunda, Uasin Gishu County during the burial of the late Silas Kibet Kemboi, a former radio presenter at Nyota FM.

The Senate minority leader said they would ensure that his killers are punished. The businessman was shot dead along Ngong Road on his way to his home. Nothing was stolen from him. Wetang'ula added that Juma was at the forefront in defending public resources by raising concerns about the Eurobond and land matters and did not deserve to die.
