Kenya: CIC Insurance Group scored a major victory during this year’s Investment Awards ceremony, winning five trophies.
The Group was declared the winner in the best performing balanced fund category. It was also declared first runner-up in the best performingA money market fund, best performing bond fund, bond deal of the year and unit trust of the year categories.
CIC Insurance Group CEO, Nelson Kuria, said the awards prove the company’s commitment to highest standards of practice at the capital markets. “The awards have confirmed the confidence that the investing public has in CIC Insurance and we promise to do much better in future,” he said.
The group listed at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in 2012 by way of introduction. Last month, it also listed its bond which was oversubscribed by 111 per cent.
