Kakamega, Kenya: Mother of Ida Odinga is dead. CORD leaders broke the news at a rally called to press for national dialogue in Kisii yesterday. Kisii Senator Chris Obure asked for a moment of silence in her remembrance.
And President Uhuru Kenyatta sent a message of condolence to the family of the late Rose Ayuya. The President said that the late Ayuya will be remembered for her outstanding service to the community and the nation having been the first African trained nurse in Kakamega.
