What’s the worth of cultivating an immoral and unethical culture to innocent teenagers in the face of responsible authorities?
Walking along various streets in towns, one would not go amiss materials considered either obscene or unethical to the younger generation though they have not ceased emerging for sale on various video stalls established by hawkers.
The state and the relevant authorities should impose hardcore rules and impound X-rated movies and pornographic materials to endorse morals among the youth and deter rising immoral clout experienced in the society. Before going into residences and blaming the foreign culture for the imposed cultural setbacks, the Government should impose serious charges to hawkers and individuals trading on the obscene materials, likewise to social sites.
It’s a shame that though adults in this business assume the implications of teenage access to such materials and the concurrent reflection of this on the current generation.
The recent expose on immoral sexual practices at the Coast and other various parts of the country was shameful and might emanate from poor upbringing and access to pornographic materials. As the nation transits to the digital error, moral upbringing should be a state versus societal effort to enable identification of relevant materials and rejection of irresponsibly immorally materials by individuals.
This will project a maturely responsible use of social media and enhance the grooming of a morally upright generation.
