NAIVASHA, KENYA: A middle aged man has been sentenced to seven years in jail by a Naivasha court after pleading guilty to having unnatural act with a goat.
Francis Makonda had been arraigned before Naivasha Principal Magistrate Esther Boke and charged with committing the offence on June 30, this year in Huruma Village Naivasha.
He admitted to having sex with the animal saying that he no longer trusts in women.
The accused who was unrepresented pleaded for leniency saying that he was not in the right frame of mind when he committed the act.
While giving out her ruling the magistrate said that the unnatural offense required a tough punishment given that the accused was a family man.
She said the suspect who was convicted on own plea of guilty had a right to appeal within 14 days.
