Acting sensation Brenda Wairimu will join her family members as they lay their late father to rest at the Langata cemetery today.
The model’s father succumbed to kidney failure over the weekend after battling with a kidney condition for two years.
He had been undergoing weekly dialysis sessions at Kenyatta National Hospital before his death.
“Brenda is trying to be strong. She is grateful that her friends have been by her side at this trying moment,” her publicist Dallah told Pulse on Wednesday.
“RIP dad, as my heart breaks into a million more pieces this morning, I pray that you finally find peace and rest. I will love none the way I love you,” the Shuga actress posted on her social internet page earlier in the week.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home early this morning for the burial also to be attended by local actors and musicians.
The burial ceremony will be a brief affair estimated to last about one hour.
