1) Education is?
A little boring at times but the most important thing I have done in my life is completing my studies.
2) What sports club were you in?
I was super active. I played lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, football, sang in the choir, drama club (I never missed the music festivals) and best of all the cheering squad.

3) If I could go back to my high school days I
would...
Make sure that on my first day of school, my skirt is short rather than the titanic version I had. Sad!
4) The last time I studied for exam was?
Wow! That would be June 2010 at Africa Nazarene University where I studied Computer Science.
5) As a student your favourite class was...
I would have to say Physics and French. I loved Physics because I was the only girl in a class full of boys and competing with them was too much fun. French because I was the only student in my year and homework was listening to Celine Dion’s music and translating it. In fact the first song I ever performed before a big crowd came from those tapes.... yeah tapes.
6) What sort of student were you?
I was a noisemaker who always topped the class. I bullied shy boys who I would force to seat really close to me and talk. I also controlled the shrub chart at the back of the class and was very sleepy, especially during Fasihi lessons.
7) Best high school memory?
When I sang Mariah’s Hero in church and the school director walked up to me, hugged me then looked at me speechless...that was scary and inspiring.
8) Worst high school memory?
The first day of school and the vibokos were not funny.
9) Most influential teacher…
Our Kiswahili teacher Mrs Wahome. She was also the dorm mistress and instead of shouting at you, she would have a talk with you on schoolwork, boys and life.
10) Dream career growing up?
I never really had one, but what was certain was that I had a passion for music and art.
