A one-of-a-kind TAG Heuer watch featuring Kenya’s coat of arms and national colours is taking centre stage as luxury watch retailer TimeVallée made its entry into the Kenyan market with a new boutique in Nairobi.
Created exclusively for Kenya, the timepiece combines Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship with national symbolism, making it a unique collector’s piece that reflects the intersection of luxury, culture and identity.
The watch, designated a “Piece Unique” and limited to one piece, features the Kenyan coat of arms, the country’s distinctive national colours and a white strap.
Its design sets it apart from standard commercial collections, positioning it as a bespoke creation made specifically for the Kenyan market.
The unveiling coincided with TimeVallée’s entry into Kenya through a partnership with Art of Luxury, which has opened a multi-brand luxury watch boutique in Westlands.
The development brings together some of the world’s established watchmaking brands under one roof, including TAG Heuer, Cartier, Bvlgari, Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Roger Dubuis, Baume & Mercier and Zenith.

While the boutique marks the retailer’s expansion into East Africa, the exclusive TAG Heuer creation provides a distinctly local dimension to the launch, drawing on Kenya’s national identity rather than relying solely on the appeal of international luxury brands.
The watch’s limited production makes it different from conventional luxury releases, which are often manufactured in multiple units. With only one piece created, its appeal rests on its exclusivity as well as the story behind its design.
For TimeVallée, the Nairobi opening expands its presence in the Middle East, India, Africa and Turkey region. The company says the new boutique follows openings in Turkey, India and Egypt.
TimeVallée chief executive Hélène Maslin said the partnership with Art of Luxury would provide customers with an experience that goes beyond conventional retail.
“We are thrilled to have partnered with Art of Luxury, a trusted partner who shares our vision of serving local clientele with more than a boutique, a watchmaking journey guided by a passionate sales team,” she said.
